The Australian Army Campaign Series is published by the Australian Army History Unit, Canberra. It is written for members of the Australian Army with a focus on leadership, command, strategy, tactics, lessons and personal experiences of war. Each book contains specially commissioned art, digital graphics and 3-dimensional maps from leading Australian military artists.
Army produces doctrine publications and procedural manuals for use in all Army formations and schools. Land Doctrine Centre at Army Knowledge Group manages the Army Reference Library on behalf of the CA to ensure all publications are relevant, produced in a timely manner and are accessible for all users.
The study aims to be forward looking, to think about Army’s future needs and ensure the education, training and doctrine system of the Army is appropriately oriented for the demands of the next two decades.
The Australian Army Journal provides the primary forum for Army's professional discourse. The journal, in addition to facilitating debate within the Australian Army, also raises the quality and intellectual rigour of that debate by adhering to a strict and demanding standard of quality.
Insights Papers comprise special or immediate interest topics to the Australian Army and international military community, providing lessons learned, insights on military strategy, future land operating environments and military modernisation to further debate, research and organisational change.
