Tiered combat helmet
The tiered combat helmets afford protection to the soldier from projectiles, fragmentation and blunt-force impact. The helmets incorporate a ballistic protection shell, suspension and retention systems, and accessory mounts and rails.
The tiered combat helmets will be:
- lighter in weight
- supplied with an Australian Multicam Camouflage Uniform (AMCU) helmet cover
- capable of taking night-fighting equipment attachments and side rails for accessory attachments
- available in multiple sizes.
